The Man Who'll Make Your 2025 Resolutions Actually Stick

Remember when you were twelve and begging your parents for a Nintendo? Lorenzo's mom had different ideas - she gave him his first set of dumbbells instead. And now, meet Lorenzo, our new Fitness Consultant.

From Dumbbells to Discipline

As the son of an amateur bodybuilding competitor, Lorenzo got an early start in fitness that would make most of us feel like we've been slacking since birth. While most teenagers were perfecting their video game skills, he was being mentored by Coach Mike Bergener of Bergener Strength in San Diego, mastering Olympic weightlifting moves that most of us can't even pronounce.

The Resume That Makes Your Fitbit Cry

By 18, when most of us were still trying to figure out how to do laundry, Lorenzo was already personal training at Fitness Together in San Diego. His fitness journey reads like a greatest hits album: Olympic weightlifting (that's snatch and clean and jerk for the uninitiated), Hardstyle kettlebells (fancy), powerlifting, and CrossFit competitions in Hawaii (because if you've got it, flaunt it).

From running his own personal training business in Big Island Hawaii to serving as fitness manager at Gold's Gym in Vancouver, he's accumulated enough experience to make your friends' "I went to the gym once" story sound even less impressive than it already did.

 Life Outside the Weight Room

When he's not helping members achieve their fitness goals or demonstrating proper form, Lorenzo is a family man: married for 11 years with four kids, which we assume doubles as cardio training. He's also devoted to his church and local Vancouver community, proving that you can indeed have it all - as long as you're willing to wake up at ungodly hours to fit everything in.

What This Means For You

As our new Fitness Consultant, Lorenzo's role is to help you get the best results possible, which means he'll be the one telling you that no, watching workout videos on TikTok doesn't count as exercise. His approach combines years of diverse fitness experience with a genuine desire to see members succeed (and proper form - he's very big on proper form).

What's struck him most about our gym? The diversity of our membership and how everyone seems to know each other - kind of like a very fit, slightly sweaty version of Cheers.

Welcome to the team, Lorenzo. We promise to try our best to not completely butcher the names of Olympic lifts in your presence.

PS: For those wondering - yes, he can probably help fix your squat form. No, he won't do your workout for you.
