KiKi

NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist
BS, Kinesiology - MS, Athletic Training

My personal ethos is to help clients build healthy relationships with fitness and food and lead full and healthy lives. I was very active in sports and activities growing up. At the end of high school, I tore my ACL. Through the rehab process following my injury, I was inspired to pursue a degree in Athletic Training. In college I explored a question which with people many people can identify: “If I no longer have an athlete identity, what does that mean for a healthy and active lifestyle”. I spent years exploring all sorts of new activities and loved some more than others. I am a weightlifting, hiking, biking, and group fitness enthusiast, and love encouraging others to try new activities and challenge themselves.

In Athletic Training, I work with people on functional deficits, injury prevention and mobility.
I am passionate about helping people with injuries return to the full, active life they’re missing. We will use a well-rounded approach to help you get back on the right track. I am also a big proponent of lifting heavy weights, particularly for women. Not only is it great for long term bone and muscle health, but it was perceived as socially unapproachable for so long, that it’s an area I feel especially strongly about in my personal training practice. I strive to empower my clients and help them feel more comfortable and confident.

Not accepting new clients at this time

I have been passionate about health and fitness throughout my life. I was lucky enough to transfer my passion into a career teaching Physical Education and Health, primarily working in early education. Coaching and teaching are part of my identity. As an educator and fitness enthusiast, I strive to create positive experiences with movement whether I’m working with clients or students. I believe we all have the strength, wisdom, and capacity to heal our bodies. My goal is to help you see that within yourself and to enhance your overall well-being. Together, we’ll work on an individualized plan to lead you on a path of wellness and confidence.

I have come to appreciate the importance of mobility through my own experiences over the last few years. In my first year of teaching, I experienced a lot of pain during work and exercise. It took me a while to figure out this had developed over time with unhealthy movement patterns which created muscle imbalances. After significant research and practicing intentional, correctional exercises, I am now able to exercise pain free. Through my personal experience, I have come to value mobility and the power it has to heal injuries, limit risk of injury and enhance strength building.

I have extensive experience in developing plans and programs for movement that will allow you to reach your fitness goals. I look forward to working together.

Hailing from Milwaukee Wisconsin, my journey into health and wellness started as a junior in high school with my own personal weight loss journey. After battling with obesity and the ups and downs along the way, I discovered what health really meant to me, and developed a strong passion for helping people find out what it could mean for them!

Prior to joining West Coast Fitness, I spent two years as a personal trainer at Planet Fitness. I had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients, making it a very valuable learning experience for me.

Originally from Canada, I came to Oregon to attend University of Oregon and a pursue a career in archaeology. I never considered myself athletic, coordinated, or physically strong. Gyms were an intimidating place to be and while my career required me to be fit, I didn't consider strength training to be "for me". After starting and falling in love with roller derby, I began strength training to improve my game and prevent injuries. Building strength and athleticism was a life changing and tough journey. I decided to become a personal trainer to help others overcome their feelings of intimidation to build strong, capable bodies.

I believe that moving with intention and care is the foundation of an active and healthy life. I enjoy working with people to help them overcome their limitations and exceed their goals. Fitness and strength training are for everyone, and I strive to create a welcoming environment where we can work together to build a strong fitness foundation. Whether you are a fitness novice or a regular in the gym, I can help you get stronger, build confidence, and fully enjoy your active life.

ISSA Certified Personal Trainer
Nutritionalist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Senior Fitness Specialist

My fitness journey began when I noticed a need for stability within myself. I started applying what I learned about “working out” and experienced positive results. My personal journey led me to following a pathway toward certification to share this with others. I feel a sense of purpose in making a positive difference in the world, helping people to feel better and improve their quality of life.

I specialize in Senior Fitness and Corrective Exercise. I enjoy working with seniors and am attuned to the unique needs of developing senior fitness training programs. I chose to certify in Corrective Exercise to help my clients feel better. This technique allows us to become in tune with our body gently and feel at peace in our posture by correcting imbalances.

Outside of the gym, I enjoy cooking, riding horses, traveling, shopping, spending time at the beach and socializing with friends. I grew up on a small farm in Damacsus, Oregon. In my youth, I participated in 4H and played basketball, softball and ran cross country through middle school and high school.

I look forward to meeting you! I’m here to help in any way I can. Your goals are my goals, and I’d like to help you reach them.

My #1 goal, for not only myself, but for other people around me, is to find enjoyment in fitness. Whether it be losing weight, increasing mobility, or gaining strength; it shouldn’t be another chore! I want to empower my clients (which could be you!) I work with as I have myself.

I’ve had many athletic ventures, from hula dancing and cheerleading, to now, MMA and powerlifting. I started my fitness career as a powerlifting coach and was given the opportunity through pure experience. After some time, I decided to broaden my horizon in fitness instruction and acquired my ISSA personal training certificate. With this I can guide my clients through general fitness, corrective exercise, strength and conditioning, and in the future - more!

If I’m not at the gym, I’m probably at home designing graphic tees, making music, or cooking for my little family. I’m so grateful to be a part of the West Coast Fitness community. Looking forward to meeting you! We got this.

I’ve been working in gyms since I was young, and fell in love with the atmosphere where everyone is striving to reach their goals and ambitions. When I'm not working out, some of my hobbies include playing and watching basketball, skateboarding, or just watching movies with my girlfriend and our two pet ferrets!

I received my fitness education through NASM, where I learned and applied new techniques and physical fundamentals to my training. However, I believe that my most valuable knowledge came from working at gyms at a young age. There, I was able to learn the ins and outs of the gym environment while being trained by other experienced trainers. This experience really helped me to develop my skills and passion for personal training, which led me to get my certification and pursuit of  my career!

I hope to spread a very friendly and welcoming personality and I’m here to always be ready to motivate and help others. I understand that the gym can be intimidating for many people, so I'm here to help you every step of the way. Whether you're the average person looking to reach your fitness goals or someone who is intimidated by the gym, I'm here to be of service for you. I believe that everyone can reach their goals with enough passion, consistency, and patience.

Spending most of my life in gyms and sports I found a love for physical fitness, health and wellbeing, It has led me to a career as a personal trainer.

Starting at 10 years old, I played most sports under the sun from football to track, baseball, tennis, wrestling. I trained myself to complete a marathon at the age of 27 . Throughout my life, movement has been a cornerstone of my physical and mental well-being, and I am passionate about sharing this with others. My journey began with weightlifting and running, but finding balance for my body proved challenging. Discovering yoga and sculpt transformed my approach, as these practices brought stability, mobility, flexibility, and strength—key elements that have helped my body thrive as I age. I strongly believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore what works best for their body, enabling them to experience the joy of movement and strength.

I’m committed to helping people discover movement that serves them in the present moment: right NOW. I value all modalities and advocate for women to feel confident lifting heavier weights—not only to build muscle and bone density for lifelong health but also to cultivate a sense of mental resilience and empowerment. By tailoring my approach to each client’s needs, my goal is to provide them with the tools to move confidently and effectively through every stage of life.

Born in Montana, I grew up playing football and participating in track and field. Once I reached high school, I began to understand the importance of exercise and lifting weights. I believe that fitness not only improves out physical performance; it also has a positive impact on our mental well-being.

While studying to attain my bachelor's degree in psychology from Carroll College, I incurred several season-ending injuries while playing football. After being subjected to multiple rehabilitation programs, I developed a conscientious mindset toward fitness, where form and functionality are a top priority in my exercise.

When I'm not at the gym, I enjoy cooking, playing video games, and spending time with my fiancé and our two dogs.
